Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) It is a program created for students by students. Model United Nations is a simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations and the United Nations. In MUN you learn researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership.

Participants in Model UN conferences (delegates) are placed in committees and assigned countries or other organizations. They are presented with their country assignments in advance, along with a topic or topics that their committee (for example: Health and Youth, Disarmament, Human Rights)will discuss.

Delegates conduct research before conferences and formulate positions that they will then debate with their fellow delegates in the committee, staying true to the actual position of the country they represent.

ISH takes part in several conferences in both locally and internationally.
