To be considered for teaching/educational assistant positions at the International School of Helsinki all applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in Education (Master's Degree preferred)
  2. Teacher Certification/License
  3. Minimally two full years of teaching experience post degree and certification (PYP, MYP and DP experience preferred). This is applicable to teaching positions.

Candidate chosen for any position will need to present a clean criminal background check.

Lower School/ Middle School Counselor:

The International School of Helsinki is seeking to employ a full time counselor for the lower and middle schools (Early Years - Grade 8) for the 2019-2020 school year. The ideal applicant would have an advanced degree in the field from an accredited university, quality experience supporting a range of learners in different school settings, and a track record of excellent collaborative skills, creative problem solving, and positivity. Applicants must demonstrate strong speaking, reading and writing skills in English and ease communicating with students, teachers, and parents.
